The run is being organised by the Club webmaster, Keith Faulkner, so R.S.V.P. Caboolture is an active airfield and a busy place, so our visit will be carefully managed to ensure the safety of all. We will meet at a rendezvous point to arrive in convoy at the museum at approximately 10am. The cost will be $25 per person which includes entry to the museum, a guided tour through the museum and a gourmet BBQ lunch. Wheel and Wings - BBQ in the Hanger - Old planes and classic cars seem to go hand in hand, so what better that a drive in your Alfa to visit the Caboolture Warplane Museum? Located within the Caboolture airfield precinct, the museum is dedicated to preserving and publicly displaying artefacts from Australian aviation history with particular reference to WW2 and Vietnam.
Members' family, potential Club members and non-members may attend Club events, however it is the Club's policy that they sign an Event Disclaimer and Indemnity acknowledging that they participate at their own risk and indemnifying the Club, Committee and Members against all or any claims, suits, actions, demands and costs from injury or damage. The Club's insurance coverage for events is provided by Motorsport Australia. Occasionally, a social outing will coincide with the opportunity for members to display their pride and joy at a classic car show or other display. Activities range from restaurant evenings to extended week-ends away in the country. The Club offers a variety of social activities for members who enjoy hitting the open road in their Alfas - or simply enjoy the company of other Alfisti.
